Desktop overview

The desktop app is the visual surface for agent work. It is where you start runs, watch tool calls stream in, and review diffs before anything lands on disk.

Layout

• Sidebar — workspaces, sessions, and search.
• Main pane — the run timeline: prompts, tool calls, file diffs, and results.
• Inspector — current agent state, token usage, and permission requests.

What it is good for

• Long interactive sessions with many turns
• Reviewing multi-file diffs before applying
• Switching between workspaces without leaving the keyboard

For headless and scripted use, the CLI and API surfaces share the same run model.
