Why we built a CLI when we already had a desktop app

Same agent, different verbs

The desktop app optimises for observation: parallel workspaces, visual diffs, interrupts. The CLI optimises for repetition: flags, exit codes, config files.

optamus run "add pagination to /api/posts" --json

If a run can be started in the app, it can be started in a script — and vice versa.
