One long-running agent is a queue of one. Most work — lint fixes, migrations, backports — is embarrassingly parallel.

optamus run "migrate to vitest" --parallel 4

Each run gets its own worktree, its own context window, and its own place in the log.

Limits worth knowing

• Concurrent runs are capped by your plan.
• Shared file writes serialise automatically.
• --parallel is still explicit — nothing fans out unless you ask.
